Welcome

Hello and welcome. My name as you may have guessed is Maya Posch, and I happen to be a professional software developer, with my own company but also working freelance. See my CV/resume and portfolio for more details, as well as my programming blog. I hope you'll find it somewhat interesting :)

I also happen to have been born intersex; I was born a hermaphrodite, to be precise, and this has resulted in many years of drama, intrigue and outright lies and deceptions here in the Netherlands. See my personal weblog and the details on this site. I'm currently trying to move to a safer country for intersex people.

Events

Historical:

On October 13th I'll be traveling to Hamburg, Germany, where I'll undergo surgery. You can read the details about it here on my blog: announcement and update. Read the conclusion.

On June 30th and July 1st through July 3rd the photography student I have been working with since last year displayed the results at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten in Utrecht, Netherlands as part of her final exam. This exposition involved photos, video material and more, all revolving around me and my story. See the link for more details.

Moving to Humanitarian Protection

I'm currently in the process of gathering support so that I can migrate to Canada or similarly tolerant country to escape the discrimination and persecution I am suffering in the Netherlands. Any help with this is more than welcome. At the moment I'm arranging some final matters, like getting my official gender changed thanks to a helpful lawyer.
